The HBMeU in coordination with MEEA have established the e-Learning Excellence Awards to recognize outstanding achievements in the field of e-learning made by both organizations and/or individuals in the Arab World. It celebrates innovations and excellence and showcases best practices and projects which have had significant contribution to the e-learning industry in the region. The following categories of awards are:

• The Best Research Paper tackling the implementation of e-Learning in the Arab World Award
• The Best Designed e-Learning Course (both corporate and academic sector) Award
• Individual outstanding Achievement in e-Learning Award
